Visitor visas are for people to travel to Australia temporarily for various reasons, such as tourism or visiting family. There is also a visa for young adults to visit Australia for a holiday, allowing them to work while in the country. The options available include the Visitor Visa Subclass 600, the Working Holiday Visa Subclass 417 and the Work and Holiday Visa Subclass 462
Visitor Visa
Subclass 600
The Subclass 600 visa is for people to visit Australia for tourism, family visits and some business purposes.
You must have enough money for your stay in Australia. You must be a genuine temporary visitor. If you are visiting family members in Australia, you will need to be sponsored.
With the Subclass 600 visa, you can stay in Australia temporarily. You are not permitted to work during your stay. Usually, you can stay for 3, 6 or 12 months, depending on your circumstances. However, there is a list of countries whose passport holders are eligible for a ten-year visitor visa, allowing a three-month stay on each visit

Working Holiday Visa
Subclass 417
The Subclass 417 visa is for young adults from a list of countries to come to Australia for a working holiday.
You must hold a passport from one of the countries on the list whose citizens are eligible for the Subclass 417 visa. You must be under 30 or 35 years of age, depending on the country of your passport. You will need around $5,000 for your stay, plus money for your return fare. You can’t bring children with you.
With the Subclass 417 visa, you can stay in Australia for 12 months and undertake short-term work or study. You can apply for a second and third visa if you complete the required Subclass 417 work

Work and Holiday Visa
Subclass 462
The Subclass 462 visa is for young adults from a list of countries to come to Australia for a working holiday.
You must hold a passport from one of the countries on the list whose citizens are eligible for the Subclass 462 visa. You must be under 30 years of age. You will need around $5,000 for your stay, plus money for your return fare. You can’t bring children with you.
If you are from India, China, or Vietnam, you will first need to be selected via a random ballot process before applying.
With the Subclass 462 visa, you can stay in Australia for 12 months and undertake short-term work or study. You can apply for a second and third visa if you complete the required Subclass 462 work
